You're almost to the river and you realize you forgot your floatant. Damn. Stop by the local fly shop, right? Sure, if there is one around - or on the way. If there's not, stop by a local hardware store or ask around on where they sell fishing licenses. Chances are they'll sell some fishing gear. I'm no proponent of 'Corporate America' but I'm not going to ruin a fishing trip by not stopping by Walmart if I need to. And they do have a decent selection of cheap fly gear.
